The Landmark Saloon

Hey, we’ve finally gotten off the couch, put the beer down, and booked a live performance that isn’t a private party, camp-out, or drinking contest. (Although spontaneously it could be!)
Its Jakeleg live at The Landmark Saloon! We’ll be playing Thursday March 24th starting at 8 o’clock and going until the audience runs out of rotten tomatoes. (Or is it tomatos? Dan Quail really messed me on the whole tomatoes/potatoes thing) If you’ve never been there, its a pretty hip place. Its at 4847 SE DIvision. Real casual and comfortable with hard liquor as well as a line up of beers and wines. The band really likes “Moose Drool” beer. Feel free to insert your own joke here. Plus, the foods cheap ... check it out!
We plan on springing a few new tunes on ya. In fact, we’ll probably spring a few new tunes on each other!

Happy Trails Riding Center

For several years now we’ve been playing a truly cool benefit. It’s for The Happy Trails Riding Center. These folks do some really great work. They take people with various disabilities and introduce them to the equestrian world. Something about the connection with horses that gives them a real sense of themselves and what they are capable of.
The fundraiser is called “Tasting Along The Trail” and it’s an absolute hoot! Items for auction, great food, lots of good beer and wine, and of course music by yours truly ... Jakeleg.
This year it happens at The Ambridge Event Center on Saturday October 16th from 6 to 10pm. We’d love to see you support the cause and we promise to poor on the bluegrass!
